Title: Annual World Grits Festival, Yes Grits Festival!

Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls, and Children of all ages!! Today is the opening day of the " World Grits Festival"
in Saint George, South Carolina! The festival runs for 3 days thru Sunday when they have the rolling in the grits contest. Here is your chance to learn all things grits. I know this is short notice but maybe next year we could turn this into a GTG. I'll be riding up there checking things out and enjoying some fine grits. I know some of you are thinking Grits? Really Grits Festival? Yes! Grits Festival! I'll bet no one has ever heard of a Hash brown Festival! Scattered and smothered? Not grits, hash browns. Any way, I'll make the trip and git some free grits and maybe a t-shirt or two. I have included 2 tablespoons of grits for your enjoyment. Please don't sneeze or cough as they will clog up your computer.  Grin

I was never a grits fan unit we had some at the Half Shell in St. Simons Island a few months ago. The absolute best I have ever eaten. Now my wife makes them more like we had.

Like Cousin Vinny asked “what is a grit”?

Grits are the best, add a little "free" government cheese and some good bacon cut into bits & that's a Meal.

We will have to look into this event for next year, providing that it doesn’t conflict with the Florabama Mullet Toss🤓 I buy all of my grits from the Geechie Boy Mill in Edisto Beach😜
