Title: Leaking inner primary seal (Baker)
Post by: trippy on August 16, 2019, 07:49:03 AM
Hi Guys,

Fitted a Baker (high torque) inner primary bearing and seal a couple of years ago, all was fine, last year fitted a Baker F6R Reverse kit, at the same time put in a new inner primary seal, but it leaked, at the end of the year while doing a few other upgrades I decided to take off the primary again and replace (Very carefully) the seal again, after checking the shaft for any signs of damage and found none, but alas it is still leaking, if fact worse than before.

Has anyone had anything similar and if so, how did you cure it?

Thanks.   Ride safe.
