More GPS woes after latest software update
« on: July 20, 2020, 08:27:41 AM »

GTS upgrade from last month, next maneuver still sticks, for me it has actually gotten worse with the last update, but now the trick to (pause route and then resume route) doesnt work to refresh it, neither does skipping next waypoint.  The only way I have found to get it unfrozen is to stop the route and reload it, lots of fun when you have a bunch of waypoints because you wanted to make sure you stayed on a specific road.  Anyone got any other ways they know of to refresh it without having to reload the route?

That's a bummer! Went on an overnighter via the San Juan Skyway last week and noticed the "sticking next maneuver" thing, however the "route pausing and resuming trick" did work for us :nixweiss: We've the same GTS latest software.

After I did the latest update I noticed as well that it appears to happen more often now. Pausing and resuming the route works on mine.

Ok so I just spoke with Matt, tech lead at Harley for the GTS radios.  They dont have a fix for this but said they are working on it, he said that the more data that have the better and asked that I let everyone know that is having the issue to call into Harley Customer Support and document it and also send over the GPX file that froze.

Did Matt give you his qualifications to be tech lead? Like maybe he owned a Commodore 64 for a few months?  :P
