I pod will not turn on in or out of the bike. Any idea what is wrong?

Try plugging it into your computer/house power.  Battery may be dead.  The bike only charges through the iPod connection when it's running or on.  It doesn't charge while sitting with ignition off.  I noticed my iPod dead also and it was the battery.  I ride everyday to work but probably not long enough to keep the iPod charged.  If plugging it into the house/computer doesn't work, may be a bad pod.

I went on line and it needed to be reset. Hold down the (-) and on button for 8 seconds and she came on.

So my I pod still is shutting off every three days or so and I have to reboot. I called Harley and they said never had that happen before ((BULL) and I would have to call the dealer and it's covered under the two year warranty. The dealer told me to contact Apple. I tried to contact Apple but it tells me my unit is out of warranty and there would be a $69 fee. Pretty high for a product that only cost $119. I called the dealer back and he told me he would look into it and get back to me. A lot of wasted time for a $119 item.
