This is kind of like telling the wife "this bike has everything" when I talked her into getting it (she knew I would still be spending money on it). Now I keep hearing about the $24K Diamond ring she wants [smiley=shocked2.gif] [smiley=nervous.gif]

If she's worth it, get her the ring. Dont skimp when it comes to the wife.

Here's a few replies in no particular order...

I picked up a can of Pig Snot...A name like that, deserves to be tried out. Ill try it on the engine this weekend.

Pig Glow, The bottles look cool. I'm gonna try it for $hits & giggles.

As for the 24K Ring...I never skimp on the wife.

She deserved every penny I spent on her new 2006 Harley Davidson F150!

Hehe....

Michael, try the Pig Spit (by Rolling Thunder).....IF you have a black engine.  It's the best I've found for a black wrinkle finish engine .... to keep it very black when they start to fade.  :) spyder

I was worried there about Twolane for a minute there. Had to go back and read his entire post to figure out what this was all about. [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif]

[smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] Gotta thank those that mentioned the Hog Pig Snot.  Went to hose the bikes down yesterday ---------- WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY Overdue, and found that I did not have enough cleaner.  Sent Jamey off to the HD Shop.  But he realized that rather than run 6 miles he could go one and stopped at the Victory Shop and got some Hog Snot instead.  Let me just say that I am so glad he did.  It is superior to the S100 and so less caustic on my hands and left a just waxed feel and look to the bikes.  OK, finally warmed up enough we are going to take these cleaned up bikes out for a ride.   ;)

Candy, was it Hog Snot or Pig Snot?   Don't have it handy where I'm setting right now but I think the product that Sumax recommended in a flyer with the returned heads and cylinders after powder coating was something called Pig Snot.  Described it being the best product to maintain the shine and appearance on the engine parts after all their work was done.  I could have the names confused though.

Pretty sure it's "Pig Snot" when you Google either "Hog Snot" or "Pig Snot" it returns "Pig Snot" products.

All this talk makes me feel like my nose is running or I need to go look in the mirror to make sure I don't have something stuck on/hanging out my nose. [smiley=nervous.gif] :o [smiley=nixweiss.gif] :D

Got to order some Pig Snot, Hog Snot, D00d Booger or whatever it is anyway.  Since it's Sumax's recommended product to keep the pretty parts looking good getting some has been on the to-do list for awhile now.  Just keep forgetting to get it done.

twolane, you may need to clarify with Sumax as there may be different Spit/Snot products that do different things. :-?  spyder

Spyder, the sheet they sent was referening cleaning of the surfaces.  It cited a Pig Snot Surface Cleaner, not a wax.  It described it as something that would/could be sprayed on and in the fins and other engine surfaces and then washed off.

OK, that's different than the PigSpit that I use on my black motor to bring back that 'new' black look of the black wrinkle.  :) spyder
