If you have an alarm system, turn it off before you move the positive side of the battery!!!!!!! :'(

With the security fob nearby, turn the ignition ON, then remove the Maxi fuse. Then remove the negative battery cable, followed by the positive battery cable. Install the new battery, attach and secure the positive battery cable, then the negative battery cable, then reinstall the Maxi fuse.
It isn't absolutely necessary to remove the Maxi fuse btw, it's just a good idea in case you accidently short something while removing the battery cables so you won't fry any of the other electrical stuff.

Just did my 09 last week (was original battery)
seems the factory left the removal nylon strap under the entire battery, so to get the battery out you need to grab the top edge of the battery with your finger nails to lift (or some other crafty ingenuity)
The electric box sitting over the battery snaps in and takes some screwing with to snap free out (kinda has a hook on one end of it as well) ... and placed to the side ...

Yeah those nylon straps are a joke. Mine was the same way too, when I went to pull them, they dissolved in my hands.
Another quality HD product.
