Where'd you get them from?  How about a pic.
It’s a bit of a long story so get comfortable.

There is a huge choice of slip ons available in the US. Here in the UK we are quite limited as to what we get to see or hear and rely on YouTube a lot but the sound on video is never the same as in the flesh. I didn’t want to splash out a lot of cash on something that I might not like. I was drawn to TAB Performance as I could use my stock heat shields with them. I’ve had Fullsac power cores before which I loved but didn’t want to adapt my stock mufflers due to potential warranty issues. I may do in the future.

I found some used TAB mufflers on eBay in the US and got them for just over £50 ($65). They were in very good condition apart from a couple of scrapes which are not visible with the heat shields on. They were however empty (no baffles). I then got chatting to someone on a UK Harley forum who had some Zombie baffles that he no longer needed as he had swapped to the 2.5” baffles. He very kindly gave them to me FOC and I managed to pick them up from him in the wilds of Cumbria when I was on my way home from Scotland on business.

So to cut a long story short it’s a bit of a low cost experiment to see if I like them. I don’t think the chrome tips go well with my bike but TAB do a black version which I may purchase if I like them after using them for the rest of the year.

Hope that all makes sense.

I’ve tried to take a picture but there is not much to see particularly with the stock heat shields on. I have however posted a before and after video on YouTube.

You've got to love it when things fall into place. Like you said it's hard to get an accurate assessment from a video compared to standing there but they do have depth to them and they do beat the stock.  :2vrolijk_21:

Huge difference in sound, much deeper. I have heard from more than one source that you are able to use your stock Defiance tips on your TAB mufflers. That would resolve the tip issue. Nice job!

Thanks man. I did wonder but they don’t want to come off easily. I’ll persevere with some WD40.

And a rubber mallet. LOL
I’ll give it a try tomorrow but it may end up looking like the TAB one if I’m too heavy handed LOL

Installed
Installed the same set on my SG, 100% better than the stock Head light plus the passing lamps have a wider and brighter beam.

What brand are those LED lights?

Got them from Led Factory Mart, at first I was sceptical but thought for under $200 delivered I would give them a go.
They are good to deal with, as for the quality of lights I have nothing to complain about.

Replaced 2 front rotors again on the 19 cvorg.   2nd time under warranty. At the same time I had the tire sensor replaced also. These parts just don't last.  In fact they really suck. Bike just turned 10k miles. Just saying. Stuart. 😩

Installed new set of LEDs lights that arrived today.

Big question is, do they have the dark area when leaning into a turn at night? Bet it does. The stock Harley daymaker certainly does. Only the Harley adaptive daymaker does a proper job. But it is pricey.
