Has anyone tried this kit or looked into it? I did a parts breakdown and it looks like the price is the same if you get everything separate. Talking with a dealer they said to add the SE Billet Cam Support Plate. Any ideas on this? I would be installing it on my 2010 SEUC. Thanks, Gregg

For those unfamiliar with the kit, see description attached. Basically pistons and cams, plus a SEST.

if thats the kit u want, its not bad, but u still need an air cleaner on an ultra, plus mufflers, and removing the cat from the stock headpipe if u want max performance...
an another note, y do they list the TQ lower than the HP?? never seen a BT make more HP than TQ... my friends bike ('09 SEUC) makes 94/108 with an air cleaner, mufflers and removed cat, with a good tune with an SEST... the guys at the dealer can't believe he didn't do motor work to it, the way it runs now...

I have a SEPST with just a download map, SEAC and Bub TDX system. It might not show it but I thought it was in my sig. Thanks

mine makes 96hp and 116tq. catless headers, 2'fullsacs, mastertune, heavybreather. now if i changed cams and pistons I would expect to get more than the HD upgrade shows. (using aftermarket parts) but you sacrifice warranty in many cases. :nixweiss:

sorry, didn't read that far down in the sig... since u already have the SEST, u don't need a 2nd one, so y get that kit? just get the pistons, cams, pushrods... than get a good dyno tune, altho theres probably a DL in the SEST for that kit u can use for a while...

My post was made to find out what people thought off the parts listed in the kit and to see if they had good results. I have an appointment on 5-20 to, if nothing else have a dyno tune. I would like to get more out of the bike and help cool it off some so I was looking at using the parts listed in the kit, bought separately minus the SEPST and adding the SE Billet Cam Support Plate.
I would like a nice smooth torque curve and keep it reliable. Not trying to get peak numbers out of the thing. I just got it in Nov and it only has 6K on it so far which is enough to know I want more performance and its only getting 35 MPG!

You will be gaining some HP on top, if you ride there, at the expense of a little throttle response and punch down low. Buying this kit and how well it works will be contingent on how good your pipe is, how close to the top of the cylinders the pistons are at (deck height) and how well they tune it. If they use a canned map and all bets are off.
The 110 issue of oil down the guides is still there even after the program updates and in your case the heads you have are the later versions. I do a lot of 110 heads and even the granite 09-10 heads have nearly seized exhaust valves.
If it was my own bike that would not be the route I chose.
Certainly I see no added value in the SE support plate, Stock is fine.

Was unaware of the "kit" from the Moco.
BUT now armed with that knowledge, seems that the aftermarket still slaps that around. :)

Any update re: the results of this kit?

I just tuned what I had and it made 94/111. Made me happy.
