Never had an issue with Dunlaps. I also pre ride check air pressure and if I get a nail in the tire I rece it as soon as possible. Do not trust plugs when my life is in the balance.

I would have thought they'd be talking about the D408, not the D402. We didn't see many posts on the 2008 and earlier touring models (D402) with regard to sudden failures, just complaints about the lousy tread wear and short life. The Dunlop complaints went through the roof when the D408 and D407 were introduced in 2009. Those were the tires I thought should have been recalled.
