Police: Woman Purposely Rammed Ex-Husband's Motorcycle At 70 MPH

LOWER BURRELL, Pa. -- A Lower Burrell woman will go to trial after police said she tried to kill her ex-husband.

Lisa Wikert faces several charges after investigators said she rear-ended her ex, Darrin Wikert, as he was riding on a motorcycle on Leechburg Road last month. Police said Lisa Wikert was driving 70 mph when she struck the bike. During a preliminary hearing Tuesday, witnesses told a judge that the motorcycle was wedged under Lisa Wikert's car. A witness said that she continued to drive down the road at a high rate of speed for about a half mile with the motorcycle under the car.

"He was leaning on the hood and the amazing part was that as he was being pushed, he had the presence of mind to hold the front wheel of his motorcycle down the road," said witness Paul Guerrini. "It was the craziest thing I've ever seen in my life."

Westmoreland County police said Darrin Wikert was eventually thrown from the motorcycle and suffered a broken leg, ankle, ribs and internal injuries.
Channel 11's Courtney Brennan was in court and said that Darrin Wikert showed up for the preliminary hearing on crutches. Investigators said the Wikert's were married for 12 years and were divorced six years ago. The assistant district attorney said Wikert tried to hurt her ex-husband in the past and pleaded guilty to arson in which Darrin Wikert was the victim.

Wikert's attorney said the attempted homicide charge isn't what it seems. "I honestly believe that there may be more misunderstandings here than criminal activities" said defense attorney William Krzton

Once upon a time, a Prince asked a beautiful Princess...
“Will you marry me?”

The Princess said “NO!”

And the Prince lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and went fishing and hunting and played golf and dated women half his age and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up .

The End

Being single myself, I had no problem voting in favor of Gay marriage.

I sincerely believe they should have just as much right to be miserable as everybody else.
