In the progress of changing out the look but purchased this 2007 with 12k miles ... Always wanted to own a springer
-
What do you mean by "changing out the look" ? Looks good to me already !
I will admit to bias of course...
Good Onya as they say in Australia , nice choice of bike.
My own 2008 FXSTSSE2 actually started as a Texan bike when new , out of Red Rock Harley in central Texas before it's journey to Western Australia

Looks good! I assume pulling that crash bar off is job 1

Nice choice.
One of my favourites, be nice if they had another run of CVO springers.

Prevailing wisdom is that the Springer front end and ABS is not technically doable and/or viable.
Trouble is more than one Aussie HD dealer has built "new" M8 engine Softails into Springer front ended bikes.
this for some inter dealer build-off kinda gig.
With some engineering/re-engineering at dealer level they had the ABS working.

Another pic

Love that color. Nice bike.

Another 2 pics. This bike was never actually completed fully. They were still working on a good looking front fender when the Perth Western Australia dealership closed.
I was watching and admiring the bike intensely. It was actually a "Crossbones" copy front end , 80%+ the same part # as the 2008 CVO front.
The donor bike was a M8 engined 2019 Fatboy

The changes I am having done are handlebars by Todd Cycles 17" apes (I know not for everyone), new solo seat wide tripper by Mustang, removing front turn signals, remove crash bar, new updated tuner and dyno, new Arlen Ness peg and brake arms, new tires, new Harley get a grip grips, new cam to the 114, and changing out all bolts to chrome everywhere on the bike. I'll post a pic once completed.

Using the original CVO risers. I will post pics once the bike is completed

Congrats PJ, you got the best year/colour, they're a lovely bike.
-
Congrats, great bike. Springers are the best. I’m partial to the ‘09 version myself, but your abyss blue is my favourite colour of CVO springer.

Picking mine up in a couple of days after a few changes. I Will post pics soon.

The risers are the stock CVO risers. I removed the tach, front turn signals, and mirrors. The bars are 17 inch, 1-1/4 inch Todd's Cycles Strip handlebars. Message me if you have any questions on the grips, pegs etc.

Bars look cool. I'll be interested to hear how they hold up when you need to move the bike around.
Love my Springer!

Won't be an issue at all. They are pinned.
