Scooter looks good   :2vrolijk_21:   but fairly stock, a few trim rings and such

I guess if I was going to buy a used scoot I would rather it be somewhat stock, so I could pick what I wanted to change

Always hear that those 100 year old anniversary scoots will be worth the $$$ as they are rare, $16k seems fair

I know nothing about the bike mechanically but I can say it is the cleanest I've seen since 2003 and that was a new one on the showroom floor. Of course this one is sitting on a showroom floor and the lighting was not the best but it looked perfect.

Has anyone followed the $$$ for the 100th Aniv models at all? It may take a few years for the value to really show.

Has Harley said the number of the rare anniversary models they will make. Not sure how rare they are going to be and what ever you pay over list is gone when you drive off.

Of the SEUC3 there will only be 1800 (you can barely make it out in the picture below showing 0001/1800). Not sure if that number is going to hold for all the Anniversary models or not.

Chip, went by and checked it today. It is $16,200 and that price was just dropped from $17,500 last Friday. They dropped prices on all of the used bikes last Friday to make room for the new 08's on the showroom floor. I looked very close at the bike today and really can't find a mark on her, she looks as new. I told them I would pass the information along and if you are interested or want a copy of the service records on the bike, call Mike Garner @ (901) 372-1121 or his email address is mike.garner@bumpusharleydavidson.com
I would think with as many used and new 07 bikes they have on the floor, for a change every price is negotiable. :2vrolijk_21:

1800 is the sell out number they are making of the Ultra, most of the others - like the Springer they are doing 1050 of tying into the 105 thing, but the money grubbing suits are going for the bucks on the ultra.

I was looking for 13 to 14 on that bike.
Told them I would bring a cashiers check and pick it up Saturday.
But there will be others.

Went to the Harley store today (checking on my part) they did not have any 08 in there. Had one used 07 jester for 34,995. Had about 8 ultra C new for around 22,000 to 23,400. Wow I guess I got a good deal paying 31,000 for my 06 haze. New Rinehart's new wheels and bag lights.

S/B, $15,800 is not a bad price for that bike if you can avoid sales tax on it.  Otherwise I would keep looking like you say.  A couple of months ago there was one near me in the paper with only 2500 miles and it sold to the first caller (I was second) for $15,950...no tax.
