Eh...better than the bike pros....bike fall out of them...the cuse4 got stuck in one and requires Schmooper aid.

I will lash accordingly when needed...

The release is the frightening part...

Kicking the lever to set it aint so easy either with floorboard extensions and stubby legs...

The flhtcuse4 is a friggin barge...

Hey Miker,
They will work with the normal four point tie-down. Might even work with two if they are bolted to the floor. I think even when I bolt them down I'll still go with four point like  I
use in the other trailer.

Two lane road.  I've just packed up from the motel on a solo overnight trip. It's cold so I'm wearing a full face helmet. I'm on the road about a mile  I'm sweating from packing up and the helmet fogs. It's early, and no one is out. I pull across the lane to the other side of the road along a wide berm. Pull up the visor. Now my glasses are fogged. I think back to my bicycling days and how airflow cleared the riding glasses. Can't see a thing, but thinking it'll clear quickly, I pull out. Doesn't clear and I realize I'm in the oncoming lane, completely blind  Full stop. Yank the glasses off and cross into my lane. Two seconds later, dump truck comes barreling around the corner. Dumb. Dumb. Dumb. Dumb.

This wasn't recently, but it's fresh on my mind.  I was changing the oil in my 1981 Sturgis and decided it would drain faster if the oil was warm.  Unfortunately, I had already removed the drain plug.

It only ran for a couple of minutes before I noticed there was a red light in my Oil Pressure lens.  That engine still lasted 111,000 miles so maybe that's how it's supposed to be done.  Who knew!

before selling my 04 seeg i tried to velcro my older metal ipod to the fairing.  well at highway speed it fell off the velcro and put a chip in the paint on my tank.  didnt loose the ipod because the 1/8" jack was still attached to the radio and the ipod.  but that chip was like a knife in my back to me!!

Today, I strike up another near miss.

I am stuck at work all day and at 4:00 I AM FREE.

I need gas and hop on the bike and head down the road.

Coming up on an intersection that I need to make a right, I start to pull on front brake (yes I am being very lazy and do not apply rear brake)

I get in these bad habits and think I am immune)

Well the bike starts to go all over the place and I cannot steer at all.

I am only going 25 and cannot stop or steer.

I miss the turn and heading toward the far curb.

finally I let front brake go and miss car and curb to recover.

I am now realizing that the oil smell did not come from the gas station, but from the road.

There is diesel all over the road that I did not even see because there is so much all over and the roadway is all black.

Man that stuff is slick, thought I hit a patch of ice.

When it rains you can usually see the shine and that is super slick also.

I was caught daydreaming or thinking of something else and did not see that hazard.

I was lucky today.

still trying to get my AH out of my throat.

Just doing a couple of little simple things to Junior's Road King, replace the plug wires and primary fluid. Everything going great. Wires changed and new fluid in. Hit the starter button to check that the wires are good. TURN IT OFF DAD - TURN IT OFF!! Lesson learned, always put the derby cover back on before starting it up. Amazing the mess a little fluid can make on the lift, floor and Jr.  :o

Stupid, Stupid & Stupid. I told my wife I was going to the Harley Shop. At the entrance of my Neighborhood, "Four Lanes", I cross two lanes of traffic to get to the other two Lanes. I am sitting in my entrance and a large boom truck gets in the turning lane into my neighborhood, I am thinking he may not have enough room to swing in without hitting me. Instead of rolling backwards and giving him room, I looked, did not see anything beside him, cars way behind him, I made a split second decision to cross the two lanes of traffic on Big Red.

When I cross his frontend and looked to my left, I not only pulled out in front of one but two other pickup trucks beside him in the blind spot!!!!!! They both hit their brakes and tried to go right but the lager truck was in the way. The truck in the passing lane, (running about 55 mph) hit me about my saddle bag behind my left hip. I herd the crash and the next thing I know, I am crouched down looking at my bike from the front saying 'Stupid, Stupid & Stupid....... The Lord took me off of that bike. I only had a scratch on my hand, elbow and back. I never hit the ground. :o :(
