lookin good  :2vrolijk_21: the painted inner should be standard on a street glide

Your right Neil.  Only the MOCO can give you less and sell for more.  (Electraglide Classic same price as a Streetglide).

Thanks, had me wondering for sure thought I was going crazy for a minute. Now that I know Nancy saw it too I guess..... neither one of us are crazy. ;) ;D

I saw that too and thought, no way, but upon closer inspection, it's just the way the sun hits the stock inner fairing.   That is a sweet looking SG. :-)  It's got me salivating as to what to with mine.  That's almost what you'd envision that an SESG would look like.  And I agree with Neal, the painted inner fairing should be stock, along with the painted mirrors, on an SG.   Maybe the MoCo will see this and give them a really good baseline for an SESG?   :nixweiss:

Looks nice Terri and JC..  The painted inner fairing is something I will do after she rides it enough to make sure I don't have to change out the handlebars or mirrors.

I wasn't aware the mirrors were available painted to match???  Did Jim have them painted or available from ther MOCO?  Did Jim move them up any??

I checked on the basecoat and top coats and the paint was over $200.00  ..  Already painted is the way to go.

Thanks, Bob

I get the mirrors through Fat Baggers. They will match OEM colors. (not all CVO colors thought). I mounted them in the stock locations.

J C, Wow, looking great! Going to have to hide this thread from melanie though :)  All Terrie needs now is that painted to match Wags trailer for that white bundle of furr of hers. I put an H D axle cover on our SG that melanie liked, not for everybody and no pics here but it;s another thought. Roger

There's nothing like a painted inner fairing!

Bike looks great nice mods. :2vrolijk_21: Is it me (my computer) or does the inner fairing look gold in the picture above?? Also it appears there is a gold strip on the front of fairing. :confused5:

No, it was the matte black finish and the only gold is that stuff called California sunshine. :2vrolijk_21:

Good Morning JC

Terri's bike is looking really great, Congrates, I have a T-bag I can't use anymore because of a airwing rack. Let me know if you are interested. On the frontend axles, are you talking about the flush mounted kind ?

Those are nice, but I'm looking for something more like the spiked Perse axel caps that I have.  Kuryakn makes a couple different types like that but not for the 08/09 (yet!).

Fat Baggers has the painted mirrors.  Jim had to send the first pair back......this pair is top drawer quality.  Didn't move them, she or I (I was very surprised that I'm able to see through them with no problems) don't have any issues with them.  As I understand it, the 09's are moved out further than previous years.

The bars were a bit of a problem after being on the bike for eight hours.  She didn't want to change them at this point so we just lowered them a bit.  We'll see this weekend.......we're going to go put some miles on again.

I thought one of those bundles of fur was yours?  That would look really sharp painted the same color.  You've already got a small fortune in that trailer.......you brought it up.....might as well do it. ;D
