#1 on my list is a nice mild, little to no snow winter!!!!!!
#2 if #1 doesnt fit in the sleigh is heated wear
But I'm really hoping that #1 will work out [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif] [smiley=drink.gif]
Oh ya peace and harmony for the world, and get our boys the hell out of that chithole they are in and back to their familes!!!

Chrome mount also available, out of stock now though.

The 1 1/4 bars need a larger u-bolt

Reo, I'm alsmost ashamed to admit this, but I didn't like chromed one.  Had it first.  The Garmin unit is black.  The chromed out mount just didn't look as good.  In fact it looked out of place.  Mounting that particular unit the black one just looked better.  At least to me.

I know, I know, this is a heresy.  And I shouldn't have said it.  After all, I'd thought I'd never met a piece of chrome I didn't like.  But in this case.......  well.....  what can I say  [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

Just looked through the stored photos and couldn't find one that showed off everything real well.  This is the only thing I found that showed it all really.  Can't see the mount from the back though.  If anyone wants something better let me know and I'll hang the unit back on bike to get a better pic.

Looking back at this pic I remember better now why I didn't like the chrome mount as well though.  It wasn't just the chrom mount against the darker colored GPS unit.  It was that the clamp system that goes on the GPS system also wasn't chrome.  So all you could really get was this chrome stub that went up against a dark clamp and a dark GPS unit.  It just looked... I don't know; incomplete and kind of half assed (to me).

I want 100HP and 105lbft Torque for the new bike with a combo of pipes, SERT and Intake!  Then I want more Torque when I am fully loaded and climbing a hill at 40-70mph...which sounds like a cam will be needed!

I can see your point, on the seeg the batwing hides the ram mount so its flat black appearance is not quite as noticable. On my bike, the chrome bracket looks good on the 1" bars from the front side.

TwoLane, what instruments or other functioning items are 'blocked' by the mount/gps?  I can't tell from the picture angle just where this unit is mounted on the bar.   [smiley=nixweiss.gif]  spyder
