We started off in Memphis wednesday night. Yea, it's a bit touristy, but, we were out of shape. Drank till I puked. Next day we headed through the delta to Clarksdale to this place.

This was our accommodations, above the blues club. People ask, wasn't it loud? We weren't in our room when they were playing. Dugh

Red's is not for the faint of heart. Leave your wife or girlfriend at home.  Imagine finding this at 1:00 am?  Pay the cover charge and walk in to the real deal. Delta blues. Raw. Straight out of the gutters. Occupancy? 35-40 thats Red by the way. He seemed to like GH and myself. It must be my yuppy ways

This is who we heard friday night. Robert Belfour. Do your own research on him. He played from 9:00 till 2:00 am. One of the last living old time bluesmen in one of the last real juke joints.
