I just got off the phone with Harley Davidson Customer Service in Milwaukee .
-
I hope that you are correct but I was on the understanding that they were doing teal then ruby then yellow. I have been told that Yellow is February build.

2Lane, you readin' this? See ya in Maggie Valley for one last road trip on the trusty ol' Road King if true! [smiley=beerchug.gif]

I dont' pretend to know who is correct, but my dealer had a list this past weekend and my red was scheduled for shipment November 1. It was the only FLHTCSE2 on his list of shipping dates.
-
I listened to a conversation between my dealer and HD on 8/2 regarding the shipping date for the red bikes. Red bikes to be in the dealers hands prior to or on Nov 1. I was in no hurry at the time, dealer called just to get an idea, So time will tell.

The reason I called Harley Davidson Customer Service. I have had several different stories whenever I spoke with a saleperson at a dealership. So I thought that I would call myself. Here is the phone number: To speak with a Harley-Davidson customer service representative call (414) 343-4056. If you hear something different please advise me.

My cherry is supposed to be shipped on Sept. 21. We will see who is full of S***. after that date. Time will tell. Spook.

Waiting is the pitts, not only that but when You get a ship date it can be pushed back as well. Mine was a week late waiting on a full load to the west coast. [smiley=furious.gif]

Just called the customer service phone number listed above. After just a few minutes wait time a very sweet young lady informed me that (as stated above) Yellow would "definitely" come before Red. Given the contradictory information coming from HD Net to the dealerships I asked her if she was sure of the information. She explained that she was "pretty sure because one of her friends had told her that was the way they were going to go." I then asked if she would mind connecting me to someone who might be more plugged in to the process for CVO itself. She responded that this would be a "great idea and [she'd] be glad to help." Was switched to someone else. At the right plant. Who actually has seen the painted parts. Red is going right now. Yellow comes later. You gotta love primary data.

Sounds like good info finally. Good job.

I too called the dealer "just to make sure". My Red will ship on the 21st. The dealer says to allow 7 days for the bike to hit the ground. I am pumped. Spook
-
Went to the dealer today, Sales manager told me, without me asking, your red S/E bike will be built and shipped and here before end of the month (sept). Sounds good to me. He also had two more green ones coming, but no yellow at this time.

If you read some of the old stuff in the thread arrival time(i think thats the thread) most of us where like a kid at Christmas waiting for a new toy (can't sleep). I guess we're just big kids at heart. And the closer to the ship date the wosre it got.

I was at the dealership in Carrollton, TX last night.
