Tonys - could that mount be Antenna Bracket P/N 76456-06 (FLH models) or 76316-06A (FLTR models)?  I could not find anything remotely like it in the search on the hd site.

I have installed at least 6 XM radios all I did was stick the antenna on top of the radio under the fairing.

Me too...this one was in service and I thought the bracket was interesting.

Yes I can understand that it is cool.

Currently my EZPAss is "double stick" taped to the underside of the outer fairing.

Porthole,

We have thought of getting an easy pass and I have never seen a good looking set up. The only reliable set up I have seen is on the inside of the windshield, and that is butt ugly.  [smiley=bucktooth.gif]
You seem to be saying that it works under your faring, is that right?   If it will work there [smiley=idea2.gif]  it would nearly stand to reason that it would work in one of the pouches in our three pouch windshield bag.

Has anyone had sucess with that?  [smiley=zstupid.gif]

Tonys,

Thanks! That piece looks like it is brass. When I was reading the install procedures, XM said the antenna had to be put on a metal surface and you might need to move it around to find the best location for reception. I am now wondering if this bracket provides a better (something) that in turn gives you better reception. [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

As will many on this site, I'll try anything that will give me more!  [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]

During last years run to Myrtle Beach they decided to trailer the bikes. You guessed it, they got charged for truck, open trailer and 3 bikes at every toll [smiley=bomb2.gif]

That was probably the toll for 'not riding 'em' !   Har!  [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif] spyder

XM review!

Wow!  How have I lived without this?  XM Top Tracks 46 - ROCKS!  Where disco still sucks!  I am so very impressed. And with going up and down and all around in the mountains yesterday, I only found a couple of times where I lost signal and that was for a fraction of a second.  If you don't have it, get it. I don't think I need to haul around CDs anymore.  Love it!
