I just placed an order for a matching CVO chopped tour pak for my street glide but was wondering what comes with the pak.  I did order a felt liner, docking tray, and matching lock.  Does it come with a retractable tether or is it the fixed cable?

Any recommendations on "must haves" when riding around with a tour pak?  Lid organizer?

Also, what do folks do when they don't want to mount a rack on it but still want to carry additional soft luggage.  Is there a "rackless" bag solution that doesnt mess the paint up?

Did you order the backrest pad? You will need a rack if you want to put luggage on top of it.

Chrome hinges and retractable tether comes with. That's it.  All other items are ordered separately.

May I ask what the tour pack cost? I've got a 13 road glide CVO its atomic orange with gray. I'm having a bitch of a time finding a chopped or razor pack painted to match.

I ordered my chopped pack from jon Horton at hornytoad hd.  I paid $1260 shipped for mine.  course this was back in 2013 when msrp was $1500.

and it came with the premium hinges, and a nice tether.  I already had the mount, backrest pad, and liner so I didn't need any of that.  I don't believe they had a razor pack painted to match.

Was just on the phone with boardtracker and my skunk king tour pack is 1199. Price is the same for chopped version, I believe.  Also getting the fancy latches that match to the newer 14+ packs better in black, the lock, and retractable tether(13 prior packs don't come with the retractable tether).  Ended up right around 1300, I already had king backrest and docking mount/hardware.  That's another $300 or so if needed.
