I brought my fastest color red bike home this afternoon. I did celebrate with wine and cheese and then some beer and then some vodka. I put a 126 miles on her today and I could not be happier. This is a great bike with the right exhaust and a tune she'll be cool an flying. The only thing I have found I'm not fond of is those ugly a$$ heat shields under the seat. These $&^kers only trap heat. They have got to go. Here she is.

Thanks Chip. I'm happy to have a CVO Road GLide. I may actually let my 05 Road Glide go since getting this bike. At least that's what I've told Nicole. I like all the cheese hiding places.

Very nice, very nice indeed. Seems like the CVO Ultra Road Glide is a hit regardless of color. Then again I may just be hanging out in the RG friendly discussions.

So the Gray/Black were out first followed by a flood of Red/Black FLTRUSE's.

Anyone just biding time till the Ivory/Gold version comes out before they buy one?

No, I am going to "probably" use the 2.25" around town "bar-hopping" and the 1.75" for long trips. Just got back from 1700 miles round trip with some 2" in my Bub's and my ears were ringing!

Hmm.. now you got me thinking that the 2" would be a good compromise. I had Rinehart Duals on my old RG and sort of thought that the 2.25" wouldn't be louder than those.. but again you got me thinking.

Yeah, I thought the 2" baffles in my Bub's (great pipes BTW) were too loud or the wrong pitch for MY ears. So I ordered the stealth baffles and they were too quiet. So I bought some insulated muffler wrap and wrapped the 2" baffles. Was a CHORE to reinstall but once in they were much better. Of course once the material starts to burn away they get louder again. I would assume the 2.25" would be louder than the 2" but I am hoping coming from a different manufacturer, the tone will agree more with my ears. I have read a lot of good comments about Steve Cole and Fullsack.

I let my '08 SERK go with the Rinehart TD's. I used Fullsac's 2" baffles on the '09 SERG. Sound pretty good IMO and ears are in much better shape after all day in the saddle! I believe Steve George left the impression the 2" baffles dyno'd with the best performance.
