Depends on the years of the tour pack.

But generally speaking, the Ultra Classic has the corner run/brake lights and the side marker lights while the Classic does not.

If it's a fiberglass tour pack it's old.

I bought a new '97-'05 style King Tour Pak from the local HD dealer end of last year, it is fiberglass and was manufactured in 2009. The '06+ are plastic as far as I know.

If you don't want to mount antennas on yours get one made for a Road King, they aren't pre-drilled for them. The Ultra style Paks are pre-drilled.

Mine is a 2004.  It's ABS plastic.  I thought that they got away from fiberglass also then.  :nixweiss:

The one on my 04 SEEG was plastic also.

I think the MoCo switched in 03 however some of the after market manufacturers still made fiberglass after that.

What are the advantages of either one?  Were the fiberglass better?

ABS is lighter and very durable.  Won't crack as easy as fiberglass.  It's good in colder climates too. They even make plumbing systems with ABS. And of course it's most likely less expensive if the moco went to it.  :nixweiss:   Overall it is a really good product.
