Title: New bike
Post by: johnchalker on June 07, 2014, 06:29:27 PM
Just taken delivery today of my new bike.

Had a cvo streetglide for 4 years but wanted something a bit easier to move about and lighter.

Hope this does the trick!

Any mods I need to do ?

I did the same thing, sold my 2011 SG and bought the deluxe. I had one in 05 when they first came out and loved it. Tired of all the weight moving  it around and worrying where to park it,
Good luck, you will love it.

Thanks,I don't think I will be two up very often ,but your seat configuration looks a lot more comfy for pillions?

Congratulation!  I did the same thing for the same reason, traded my 2011 Electra Glide Ultra Limited.  No regrets, I love my new bike.

Here is a look at the Rush Slip ons.  They sound great with the 2" baffle and no tuning required.

What no headers ? Do you still have the CAT in it?

no headers, no cat, just a fullsac core inside the stock muffler shell.  The cat was in the muffler, not the head pipe.

Just back from my first big trip over to Hollan for the Moto GP.

Seat very un comfy! And both pannier locks have fallen apart!

Bike runs great and the less weight was easy to move about on the ferry and car parks etc

And not too bad to clean up apart from the white wall tyres!
