Title: Andrews 48 in a cvo 110
Post by: busarealfast on December 30, 2018, 11:14:40 PM
Anyone have a dyno chart for this cam in a cvo? Cant seem to find one anywhere. Just want a visual of where the torque hits compared to the se255.

Have not heard of that combination, not that it would not work if torque was your focus. By the numbers it would take a small compression bump to equal the torque down low of the 255 but would be around a little longer after 4500. It is so close to the same I could not see the advantage of going there. If it is just torque you want then use the SE 117 kit and the SE585 cam and a good 2 into one pipe or the Fullsack system. It will peak at over 130 and hit 100 at 2k.

My dyno chart is packed away so no posting. I can tell you that I had a 6-7 HP increase, and a 3 ft# increase in peak torque. This was on a otherwise stock 110 running a Fullsac exhaust, tuned with a Harley super tuner. I choose this cam because I liked the low end grunt of the 255 that needed to be replaced. At no time did the levels of power dip below the 255's, and the 48 pulled out about 200-300 more and "Fell" off less. Bike was tuned by Dave @ Pocono HD.

I personally used an Andrews 54 in my bike. 105/115 and it hits right off idle, no head work. Pipe is Fulsack DX and recored mufflers 2" baffle. Tuned with tts

theres a whole lot of better cam choices for a 110 besides the 48,look into S&S .570,cycle rama 570,or tman 625.these are all milder cams that will produce power you can feel

Here is a Cyclerama 570-2 used as a simple bolt in ,, if your looking for Tq.

That is a good result and expected with the good pipe and tune choice

A little head work (and a larger intake valve) would help that allot.
