Shrader and I took a short jaunt this evening, about 60-70 miles before the big light went out. Shrader rode his Road King and was on my 03 Lowrider.   First ride of the year, finally warm enough and no salt on road.  :)

Picture is on top of East River Mountain overlooking Bluefield WV.

Today I will be going into the office where it will be seen for the first time by coworkers.  One of them, who became a motorcycle "expert" after buying his first bike, will go over it with a fine toothed comb and then proceed to tell everyone willing to listen, and many unwilling, how he'd never spend that much on a bike.  Of course, to my face he'll tell me what a sweet ride it is.

Lol, I always get cynical when I have to go into the office.

I fiddle-farted with that "software" on Harley's website for route planning for our new 6.5 GPS systems.
I must be used to real software written by people who actually have to use it, because in all my decades of dealing with software and computers; to my recollection, I've never used any type of GPS software that was more contrary and frustrating.
And why, for the price of admission into the CVO community, Harley wouldn't include real software for us to put on our PC's or Mac's that would do the job right locally, is beyond me.
And while we're talking software, why do we have to buy updates for our maps?  For $40k for the bike, you'd think we'd get updates for, say, the life of the warranty at no extra charge.
Oh, well.  Maybe the new marketing weenie will take care of things like this.
Right...

You get three free updates over a five year period (I think) for a CVO bike.

Got the SERG out and exercised her a bit.  She had been hibernating for awhile.  Still a great looking and nice riding bike!

That's a good lookin' machine, Brian.  Local business man here, had one just like it for sale with 280 original miles.  I stopped bidding at $18K...went for $20K.  Wish I'da bought it.  Later--HUBBARD

We were there too. R.I.P. So sad, but the memorial was touching and nice to see the community support after tragic event.

I RODE IT!!
Some friends and I make an annual trek to the tiny speck of Snook, TX to enjoy a local specialty, Chicken Fried Bacon. Yes, it IS worth the trip!
451 miles today and rolled over the 30000 mile mark on this bike. 27 of those are mine (I bought a garage queen).
The weather was fantastic, if a little nippy to start.
