Finally got around to doing something Friday I've wanted to do a long time.  Got up early and rode the Natchez Trace from Loveless Café in Nashville all the way to Natchez and on to Alexandria to visit friends.  Its pretty right now with leaves beginning to turn.  Trace is 444 miles with 50 mph speed limit most of the way.  Did find south of Tupelo most people were going well over the speed limit.  Wanted to do this before the days get too short to finish before dark as wildlife is common on the road then.

Sorry but also glad to read this. You've still got two other sets of wheels to keep you riding.

First day of the cold weather riding season.  Just back and forth to work but nice and toasty warm with the heated gear.  Not planning to let the cold weather cut the riding season short.

I know I'm now an ole fart.... it sure is a lot more bearable (and fun) to ride the bike when it's cool(er)... I can't take the summer heat anymore. :sweatdrop:

Well pipes (Rineharts) are on, and tune is done (direct link), and dyno'd. Got 92.65 HP and 114.7 TQ. Decatted head pipe, pipes and tuner, otherwise bone stock performance wise. Pretty impressed, I don't get the crackling and popping on decal any more. Seems to roll on to the highway a little nicer too. Didn't get too much of a ride in as the weather in BC is the chits for the next while, but I'll get out there whenever it dries out next.

Cheers  :drink:

It's a magical place far, far, away from Charlottesville, in the beautiful mountains, where elk roam and CVO riders gather each September ...LOL

If you plan now you can make it happen!!! We all would love to see ya there.
