Harley Advisory Panel
« on: March 05, 2006, 03:57:08 PM »

One of the questions this month was, "What's your favorite websites ?" This one was my top answer. I know a lot of you guys are doing this survey. I wonder how many times this site was mentioned.

What is a Harley Advisory Panel?

It is a monthly review from which they collect data from us for free (minus an occasional trinket fee) that is used to form statistical analyses of what we like to buy and how most effectively to get us to buy it.  It's dressed up as an "opinion survey."  But that's what it is.

How does one get selected to participate in this? Does the MoCo randomly pick owners in it's database?

I'm not sure if it's the new owner survey that they send out after you buy a new bike (about six months later, the best that I can remember) or if this is something else Fired [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

I just recently got a survey from MoCo it was a new owner survey type deal. Was about 18 months after purchase and they were asking about bike (problems, concerns, etc), and more about servicing dealer then anything. Was I using selling dealer for service or someone else (several questions about how often I go there, what I have done, etc, etc). Don't remember anyplace in it to mention this website at all, that's why I thought this survey may be something different.
