considering relocating front turn signals ( mounted on handlebars) on my 2010 to accommodate a bat wing fairing.

2012 owners, would you kindly look at your fork mounting and let me know how these work and how the wiring gets to them.   

Has anyone relocated the signals on a 2010 or 2011?   How did you extend the wiring?

It is bolted using the lower bolt of the fork cover.  I'll see if I can get you a pic of it close up, but basically a bolt threaded on both ends.  One end secures the cover and the other mounts the light with a tightening nut.

Thanks.   I looked at picture at HD dealer and saw the bolt which screws into the lower quick detach mount. Is that correct?

 I was not able to determine how the wire was ran.  Does it come from behind the covers?   From the front?   Is there a hole in the covers?

There is supposed to be a 12 come here at the end of the month,  so I should be able to see one soon.

There is a slot that it slides through the covers on the side that is enough slide the plug through.  It is a very clean setup.

Sorry it took so long to get it.  This is a close up of it.  I pulled the plug out of the slot so it is easier to see.  The bolt has multiple jobs.  LOL.  It retains the cover, secures the light and is the lower windshield bracket mount.  Hope that helps.
