OK, Greg...if there's already a thread like this in the RGU section, I couldn't find it, so I apologize in advance if I've created a duplicate!
I know that there's an all-encompassing "Pictures" section in the CVO Social" section, and I know there's a poll out there, but I (hopefully) thought we kinda needed our OWN picture thread!

I've noticed that some of the other sections have a "Post yer picture" thread, so I thought why not ours too?

So guys and gals, it's time to post your best photos of your beloved CVO Road Glides!!!

I'll start this thing off...

The blue LED's are from Custom Dynamics.  CD LED's are pricey, but pretty nice.  I was told the remote had a dimmer, but it doesn't (and that didn't set well with me).  They are very bright, and a dimmer function would have been nice instead of all the crazy blinking functions that came on the remote.  If I had to do it over, I would have left them off and spent my money on different mods, as I rarely use them.
Putting them on was a day long adventure and taught me a lot about the bike.  I have them located under both the front of the fairing and the tour pak, at the bottom of both saddlebags and the tranny, along both sides of the gas tank (which has to be removed to do that properly), behind the horn bell and the air breather case, and behind the engine under the seat.  Use lacquer thinner or 3M promoter to prep the area before you stick them to the bike, otherwise they'll fall off.  And absolutely don't run the wires anywhere they could get rubbed, crushed, or cut.  Solder the wires together whenever possible and don't use wire nuts.  Any wiring has to be rock solid on the bike or you'll develop a short in no time.
I drew up my own schematic so I knew how many lights I wanted at each location (these LED strips can be cut into multiples of 3 lights per strip and individually hooked up, then I checked them carefully for fit and placement before attaching them.  Also check each one to a 12v battery several times both before and after installation to make sure they work properly.  Wire direct to the battery and you won't have any issues.  I have one remote in my tour pak and another velcro'd to the bike so I can reach it while driving.
Hope this helps, and thanks for the comments!

Just an FYI, you can use a 9v battery also to test those lights. I've done that on all 3 HDS I've had when adding lights. Keeps things simpler when doing a simple check.

This pic was taken a few weeks ago. The road is Mulholland Highway in the Santa Monica Mountains in SoCal. I live nearby so I ride this part of Mulholland  which is called the Snake all the time. One of the great rides anywhere and I must have ridden it 100 times. Still not tired of it.

My 16

How are you liking the new handlebars, Stuart?  Are they Factory 47's or Yaffe's?  Anything you'd change about them?
