V & H Straight Shots

Has anyone installed Straight Shots on WG2 without problem with rear pipe hitting swingarm? I tried to install them and V & H couldn't understand what was different from a standard WG. They thought I had a bad bracket and sent new but had no luck. Does the axle cover need to be removed?
