4 day Mid Atlantic loop starting from Richmond Va tomorrow morning up to Philladelphia to hook up with a buddy from Boston, over to Atlantic City for a night. Thursday headed down along the coast (Ferry across from Cape May to Lewes) through VA Beach to Nag's Head, in the Outer Banks for Thursday night. Then over to Roanoke VA (or somewhere around there) for Friday night... then BRP up to route 6 then back over to Richmond! Should be a good ride.
If anyone sees a '07 Electraglide Classic chasing a '10 Spiced Rum SEST with a tourpak along the East Coast over the next couple of days...that'd be us!

Uggh... didn't end up staying down in the Outerbanks... we made it down there, had lunch at Hurricane Moe's and then headed back to Richmond.
I got a flat rear tire about 50 miles north of Portsmouth VA up route 13 (East BF!) had to invoke the HOG tow job down to Southside HD for a replacement rear tire. Don't know what punctured the tire.. but there was a substantial hole punched right through it. Testament to the quality of the Dunlop tires... I still rode 3 or 4 miles on a dead flat tire and didn't damage the rim.

Lots of horror stories about a flat rear tire, glad to hear it turned out the way it did.

Be happy that they took you to Southside and not Bayside :nervous:
