Can't take that kind of time off work... gotta make payments on the house & scoot don'tcha know...
I've got 8 more years till I'm retired and THEN I'll have all the time I need to ride. Gads... I hate working for a living. It's tough being born good looking instead of rich!  ;D ;D ;D

We did the early HOG Posse rides- San Diego to Savannah, Route 66, Lewis and Clarke- missed Border to Border and Portland to Portland. The best was San Diego to Sav.--> in my mind they went downhill from there actually. Registration got really expensive (from $135 to much more ($450?) per attendee- With 3 attendees in my family, it really adds up- And other than the ride, you used to get a stupid (cheap looking) HD Bulova watch you never wear [smiley=nixweiss.gif]. Of course you get to buy lots of custom ride stuff....

Those days age range of the riders was 4 years old (my daughter) to 82 (Bill on a Buell) but the numbers were generally limited to 500.
