Wyoming, Yellowstone, Idaho Trip 7/13
« on: November 29, 2013, 11:20:01 PM »

Here are some UTube videos from our trip this summer. Just learning to use the GOPRO. We're definitely not videographers!! Should have had wide angle when on the Beartooth! If you have Chromecast, use the highest definition.

Thanks for posting! "The Ball & Chain" and I rode through from Sturgis to the West Coast this year. In August a lot of the ice was melted

Every rider should do these roads at least once. The rockies are awesome too.

Glad you guys enjoyed it! I just got the chromecast last week and played these on the TV directly from the computer. Really seemed like I was back on the trip. The sound was good on the TV too. I could hear the 110 pulling up the grade. One clip you can hear the bike ahead pulling up the pass. Our next destination is between Colorado or the Dakotas.

Hey Brassspike I knew that was a trip with Lynn. We were out there 2 years ago and went to Rockies this year. Thanks for sharing the video. It rained and hailed on us at the same place in Idaho.

It was good, lots of places very much like Jackson hole trip. More riding between locations and some of its was brutle with the heat and wind. We were there during the forest fires and some of the normal places we had to avoid. Combo of snow and high plains desert. Million dollar highway was foggy and the road was under repair. Would like to ride it again.
How was the California ride?

I very highly recommend the California trip. We also had to detour due to forest fires. Nothing really got missed though. Lynn took us around the fires along some pasture roads. That was pretty interesting! We also had fog around the Big Sur area and the leg that led into Fresno was pretty hot riding. We spent our down day in Monterey.
If you ride out towards the outer banks give me me a shout and we'll catch a beer or two!
