Title: What a narrow belt drive!
Post by: DHTDHT on December 04, 2006, 10:47:50 PM
Have you guys checked out how narrow the belt on these bikes? It is narrower than the any of the other '07 CVOs. Looks less than 3/4 inch. It looks great; let's hope it holds up.

If I'm not mistaken, they used a narrow Kevlar belt to accomodate your wider rear tire. Hoist!

Yes, that's true, but supposedly it also has Carbon Fiber in it too.

That could be as well. I know they strengthened it so they could make it narrow for the wider tires, and not have it snap like a rubber band, with the bigger engines. Hoist1
