I dare say this has been covered a million times before, but my SERK is about to go into the stealers for the third time in as many months with oil leaks from the underside of the primary. It doesn't seem to be leaking a lot (needed about a pint or so over the course of our recent 2500 mile jaunt around Europe) but obviously it's annoying and it gets the back of the bike pretty filthy. I'm of the opinion that the casing is out of true, probably due to heat, and consequently the new gaskets that the stealer is fitting don't do the job properly.

Anybody had similar problems? and if so what did the stealer do to sort it out.

Wel the scoot has been in and now it is back. Seems that the problem was a broken O ring in the starter motor allowing oil to seep into the starter motor itself. On being taken apart the motor was chock bang full of oil and was consequently then leaking oil which naturally found it's way to the bottom of the engine casing and dripped onto the floor. This then looked to me like the gaskets on the engine casing were leaking.

Anyways lets hope this has sorted the problem.
