Title: Yaffe Monkey Bars
Post by: RedNose44 on January 24, 2016, 10:50:05 PM
I am convinced that my 10" Monkey Bars were not made correctly. Can others running the same bars post up some widths? I have measured two pairs of 12's (which should be the same width or wider depending on which site you reference), and my bars are two inches wider measuring from the step inside the switch housings. They are 39" tip to tip with grips, and Yaffe claims 34.5" bare (some sites claim 36").There is no way there is 3"-4.5" of space inside the grips. I talked to Yaffe and they said unless they are defective they won't take them back.

Mine are 10" Yaffe's.  They are on a Road King, but I would think the measurements would be the same.  Mine are 37" tip to tip from the end of the grips (Performance Machine Renthal grips).  They measure 22.5" straight across from the step down at the switch housings.  Hope this helps.

Thanks, mine are 24" between the steps. They are definitely wider than any other Yaffe's I have seen.
