When I did the Reinharts and Race tunner I was told that the bike did not need the air filter done, just wondering if having it done would make any differance. The bike runs great the way it is now, just wondering should I just leave it alone.

I just had a new filter element installed. The dealership referred to it as a K & N high flow. I don't know how much difference the filter change made, but I'm pleased with the dyno results (as posted under dyno numbers).

Well, of course not! Actually, you have some great dyno numbers with the stock air cleaner, I am surprised. If you changed it you'd have to load a different map, so it would be hard to measure what the air cleaner alone would do to your performance. It would be interesting to find out if you wouldn't mind spending the $$ for us! I took delivery of my bike with the H-D A/F, download and pipes, so I don't have a base of comparison. On my EVO dresser, which was totally stock it seemed like it made no more power, only a little more noise, above 4000 rps, or so. When I changed the A/F (and pipes, or course - and carb re-jet) It made good power right up to the rev limiter. There are so many variables, however there was a recent article in American Rider comparing the flow #s of various air cleaners vs. stock. Zippers hi-flow. Bet that it would push you over 100 hp! Need to go with a different a/c cover, though, and re-tune SERT.
