i hate cold weather but the my 08 SEUC loves it. Took the bike out today for a 2 hour ride and damn this bike loves the cold weather. Ran like a dream, made a few a WOT runs and she ran like a raped ape

. its amazing how the ouside temp. can make such a big difference.

Your bike likes cold weather? Well pack your bags on come on up! It's currently -45 degrees ambient temperature (that's below zero for the mathematically challenged) right now at the house. Given what you said, your bike should go even faster. Of course you'd have to find someone crazy enough to ride it! Waiting for spring!

Hehe!! Cold is relative, I guess! Thanks for putting some perspective on the 38 degree temps here. Still ain't gonna ride, though, on account of all the salt/cinders/sand on the roads!

Cold weather riding ROCKS.......if you're prepared for it. Both of my bikes love it. I love it, but I really gotta bundle up and crank the heated seat and grips.

you can get one of those heated jackets from gerbings, they work great. ive even got cought in the snow and was toasty warm.

A balmy 29 degrees here in North Alabama this morning........on it's way up to 60. Heated seat, grips and lots of layers on the way to work.........and if it all goes well........a nice long relaxing ride in mild temps on the way home........instead of "hurry up and fuggin' get there."

I got mine out Friday and was in heaven!!!! I have a grand total of 250 miles on her so far and I can't wait to get 500 miles her so can do WOT run. It's killing me not to open her up yet. By the way, the dealer said to wait until 500 miles to really open it up. What do you all think is an appropriate break in?

i waited until 500 miles and then changed all fluids then i was able to go out an have some fun

I use 500 miles as a minimum, and I don't go WOT until at least 1000 miles. Of course, fluid changes are mandatory at 500 mi.
