SE True or False

Just wondering what all of you are being told by your wheeler dealers about the following:
1. Number of SEUC's to be built in '06 - my dealer said 1000
2. Allotment - my dealer sez it's based on # of standard UC's sold - some dealers get none
3. Colors - my dealer sez they get what comes in - no order preference
4. Colors (#2) my dealer says greatest number produced will be crimson
I doubt there is any "official" way to get these questions answered but I'd like to hear what everyone else is saying.

Well, I'll take a shot at these.

1)  HD lists 4000 as the target number

2)  Allotments are awarded by Bar & Shield points, which basically means total sales

3)  Colors were ordered at the Dealers meeting last July, although I've heard the same thing that they take what they get.

4)  Don't have a clue, but they should back off the Crimson ones till they learn how to paint them.

1. I heard 3000, but thats not in stone either, they've said that before, so far the VIN's follow that.

2. One of each color to every dealer, remaining by the bar/shield points (sales).

3. See #2

4. Don't know, but if you look at the registry, they are sorted by VIN and so far the Crimson looks to be starting around #1500 and up, the other 2 colors below (we have none between 1000 and 1500 to determine right now).

1)  I also read where 4000 would be number produced

2) My dealer stated would be getting six of the 06 SEUC based on previous sales,  but would take any shipped to them and were trying to get more from the Gulf state dealers who could not take deliveries due to hurricane damages.

3) Dealer pre-ordered colors.   No choice in colors after production run began.
    (my dealer tried to change color of next scheduled bike and could not)

4) Crimson appears to be most popular from talking with dealer.
