Hi all, A newbe here. This is a cool site. thanks Steve. Well I guess my bike fits the forum (custom) since most of the parts that I added to it I machined in my CNC shop. Have a boat loads of pic's of parts of my bike. Need to get full shots. The one that is attached is cool.

pic is of a forward control assembly i designed to match the peg assembly I also designed. I do alot of riding and didn't like the footpegs that were on it and didn't want floorboards. This is kind of a crossbreed of the two. this next pic is of a forward control shift linkage i built for a local custom shop.

Well, My ride is a 2000 FXDX. Love the bike. ridden it 12,000 miles since i got it last April. Wife would like for me to get a FL but, I need to pay this one off first. Hopefully before I wear it out.
I am from central California (Fresno area). Actually i heard about the CVO network from a member that bought one of my shock lowing kits. He mentioned the "CVO network" several times and I got curious as to just what is was about.
I have a small machine shop and I mainly cater to small custom shops or individuals that do not have access to the kind of equipment or that I have and know how to use. I do have a developing product line.
Web site is finially getting the face life that it needs (it's still pretty cool though)  www.tamarackmw.com

ok, the next pic is not of a harley, sorry, I designed and made the belt drive cover for this bike.

Welcome to the best site on the web.   ;)  Think you could design and make a Screamin Eagle shift link?  I know you'd sell a few here.

well, my 2000 FXDX doesn't get much garage time when the weather is clear. Any excuse to get out of the shop is an excuse to ride, you know to the store or jo see a vendor, a ride with my HOG chapter, local poker run..
It's all black, Adding some more chrome to it. Mainly on the things I make for it. Starting to add some Black Nickle plated pieces to it.

I'm told red is the fastest, but NOTHING looks better than a black bike.  I normally prefer CHROME, but that bike looks sweet. :xyxthumbs:

Black really looks very cool.  When the bike looks that way in my view it is secondary how fast it is.

tmwkeith,
Unfortunately, art/design is not my strong point.  ;)  I was thinking something like taking the Screamin Eagle and putting it in the middle facing towards the front of the bike.  Making the Eagle like maybe 1 and 1/2 to two inches high and maybe two to three inches long, and then chroming the whole thing...I wish I could show you what I mean, but trust me, it would look like crap!! :(

Keith,
That would be great!! ;D That's the one thing I can't find anywhere is a nice custom Screamin Eagle shift link.  I'll be anxious to see what you come up with.  Thanks.
