History of CVO
« on: August 08, 2007, 08:35:08 PM »

Do they not have that "History of CVO" scrolling timeline on the H-D website anymore?  If they do, I can't find it. :nixweiss: :confused5:

Hopefully, I am just blind and they have not done away with it.  That was a nice way to be able to see the different models offered each year and the colors and production figures, too.

Before they took the 2007 CVO page down it was still there wish I would have saved the URL. I bet it's still there, but nothing is linked to it now.

Bingo here it is - History Of CVO. Now I see why there isn't a link to it they haven't added the 2007 models yet.

LOL, for some reason they have the 2002 SERK color descriptions underneath the 2000 SERG color pallets and have 2002 SERK production units listed.

Plus they show 2200 units produced in 2000.
You have the correct #'s in that letter.
I was told by Harley that there were 1469 SERG'd produced in 01.
But to verify, I have sent the "Brian letter" asking for actual #'s.

"CVOGEO" already sent one for the '01s.  Oh well, I guess it will be interesting to see if they provide the same numbers to both of you. :nixweiss: ;D

Hi All,

Just wondering if there is a place where the MOCO (or anyone else) lists the number of CVO's (by model & possibly color) produced every year.

It's obvious that in '08 they are producing 1,800 Durcells, but what about the Casper's and Red Rocket's, the SERK etc... or any other SE's from other years??? :nixweiss:

Can anyone steer me in the right direction?

Thanks!

No place like that that I know of. :nixweiss:  That would be too easy. :P  The only way I've seen it done (and did it myself) was to send a letter to H-D Customer Service requesting the information.  So far on this site we have the numbers for all years of CVO FXRs, the 2000 SERGs and the 2004 SEEGs.  Information can be found in the stickied threads in those boards.  Other members have sent letters requesting data for the 2002 SERKs, 2001 SERGs and 2005 SEEGs, but are still awaiting responses.

I believe its 1400 Caspers and 1400 Red Rockets, as for the other years and models I don't know.
                                1200                           1200          +  1800 = 4200............. :oops:I got a calculator

From what I was told, there was going to be 4200 SEUC3's manufactured again this year.  With 1800 being the "known" quantity of the Copper Tops, that leaves 2600 to be split between the Canyon Copper and the White ones (approx 1300 each).  On a side note, I got a chance to see the canyon copper SEUC yesterday at my dealership (they have one on the floor along with an SE Springer in anniversay colors), and wasn't overly impressed with it.  I really had to take a second look at it too see that it was an SE.  They had it sitting with two other Ultras and it looked just like another one, with a different paint job sitting there.  Personal opinion, but glad I got my Jester.  :)
Cheers :2vrolijk_21:,

Noticed the other night when I was searching for the History Of CVO's that the MoCo had changed the link and the one above no longer works. The new link is - History Of CVO.
