Being a newcomer to the CVO part of the HD experience, for those of you who have ordered these bikes in the past, how reliable it the planned ship date from the dealer's computer?  The dealer is telling me they'll have the bike in 10-20 days after the planned ship date.

Mine was a bit longer than the planned date...it all depends on how quickly they get the truck loaded and in what order they are to be taken off the truck.  When the dealer gets a VIN number, that means your bike is on the truck, but not necessarily rolling down the road in the truck.  My ship date was postponed a month, but then they got the bike in sooner than I expected.

My dealer told me when it was going to be shipped and it arrived the day they said and it was prepped and ready for me to pick up the next day.

Mine arrived one day late. Two days for them to prep. Bought it immediately upon hitting showroom floor.

I put a deposit down with first refusal rights on 07/23/2006 and the dealer told me 3 - 4 weeks. I received a call from the dealer 08/01/2006 stating the bike was in, and I rode off with it 08/02/2006.

I was told my bike was being shipped on 11/17/2006.  It arrived on the 20th (Dealer's only about 200 miles from York), prepped and picked up on the 23rd.  Only 3 days from factory to dealership.
