sticking turn signal
« on: March 31, 2008, 02:39:15 PM »

Ok folks, I have a left turn signal that "sticks" (as in the left turn bulb is not flashing but remains brighter than the right turn bulb) . This signal stuck yesterday and about a week ago. Noticed that it happened when the temp happened to be around zero but not when the temp was above freezing. I suspect the cold weather should have no bearing and that it is the signal relay inside the cowell...anyone experience this ever....do I need to get to the relay? Bulbs seem fine.

Sounds like a bad bulb or dirty connection.

Bob pull the bulb out and with a flash light look inside the socket housing and check to see if the isolator that holds the 2 pins is cracked or broke. Found this on mine and replaced it. Alls well now. :2vrolijk_21: Good Luck. Dont forget the big W word.  ;D
