You know, I noticed that I think two nights ago--however it only registered as not a missing "s" but having the letters mixed up--then I moved on and forgot all about it! You know this is not a problem--it clearly speaks to the quality of the CVO'ers in this group! Always someone there to get your back! [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] I think WFP has Moderator in his blood! No one would call me a Moderate...way too conservative in my views.
-
...and is there an "I" on the end or not? Even Harley can't decide!
Harley refers to them both ways...when I pulled my copy of the certificate of origin, there was no "I"
The Bike is Injected so the "I" is appropriate...
I wish riding weather would get here for real so I don't have to ponder these things...they make my head hurt!
-
they used an I in 03 but replaced it with a 2 in 04 FXSTDSEI2 would be nine characters maybe hd wants to keep them to 8 or less?
-
My title and registration stop at the second "S"...
MA can't go beyond SIX characters!

...and no "I" on the manual, what gives?

No "I" on the FLHTCSE, either. But it's wrote on my sales contract.

But if you read the writeup before clicking on 2003....
2003, Harley-Davidson's 100th Anniversary year, introduced the first CVO Softail model, the FXSTDSE Screamin' Eagle Deuce and the FLHRSEI2 Screamin' Eagle Road King. Each packed plenty of power in 2003. The FLHRSEI2 boasted a 103-cubic-inch Twin Cam engine (a first for CVO) and a Big Bore Twin Cam 95 powered the FXSTDSE.

Even HD doesn't know the correct designation!

Hey, with more snow on the ground, I start to lose focus and find the little things to focus on for entertainment!
