Title: New brake pads buzz like crasy
Post by: popsracing on August 06, 2017, 07:35:25 PM
Just replaced the brake pads on my RG and they buzz like crazzy while rolling down the road. I know it's the holes in the rotors contacting the fresh corners on the pads but it's annoying as hell ... WTF???

When I replaced mine I didn't get any new noise.  I did use HD pads.

What brand of pads?  I've never had that problem with any pads; might be worth looking to see if something foreign got stuck in there.

I run EBC's and I use their process - here:

Not sure what pads the OP is running.

If you do the hard stops like it says that should clear up. Also if you're running full floaters on the front and sintered pads that'll make a bit of noise too until they settle in.
