Title: Anniversary Bike Ideas --- Anyone Know Anything?
Post by: Twolanerider on November 26, 2017, 11:20:40 PM
Just wondering if anyone has a good source or knowledgeable insights about what the 125th Anniversary bikes will be in 2028?   :nixweiss:

I've got a feeling the Revision L amplified speaker system to simulate potato-potato-potato sounds on these all-electric bikes will finally have the bugs ironed out of the system.  It does seem odd, however, that no recall was issued for the amps leaking out of the electric motors.  Dealer said "they all do that."  Who knew....?

n 2028 the average HD rider will be 72 years old & will be nostalgic for the "good old days" prior to 2022 when the Moco still made motorcycles.  MoCo will go bankrupt in 2023 after the disastrous rollout of the "Plaid Themed 120th Anniversary bikes", using actual plaid fabric instead of paint. 80% of the dealer network will be in Chapter 11 by November 2022, followed by HD in January 2023.  HD name, logo, trademarks, & registered products will be bought out by an upstart fidget spinner company in late 2025 and the company will be renamed "Harspin Fidgetson".  2028 Anny models will be 1:64 scale and available in Hotwheels as well as Matchbox versions.

Humor - Does make sense, considering the 2018 Anny rollout, in 2028 no matter what HD does, it will more than likely be funny.  Not necessarily funny ha ha though....

I did hear there would be a side car option for extra batteries for cross country touring

Between now and 2028, HD will have rolled out several series of anniversary models:  the 2020 Anniversary Model, 2025, etc.  Cant get enough of those "special releases."

Whatever it ends up being, I'm sure we (those of us still alive anyway) will complain about how overpriced and unreliable it is.

I predict they'll still be working on resolving the commonly known "heat issues" that exist with HD's proprietary 'zircron encrusted litho sodium hyper battery' packs.  In particular, the simulated chrome CVO version.
