2005 flhtcse
Can someone tell me how to remove the clutch basket.
Do i need spec tools?
Are the 2005 cvos a tapered shaft?
Thanks! :bananarock:

It should slide off. No tapered shaft. There is a special tool used to lock the hub when removing and installing the shaft nut.

Thanks jim you installed it about 8-10 years ago. Its been a great clutch

I have the Rivera clutch as well but always a pain in azz to get neutral. Do you know a secret?

There's been talk on oil creating clutch drag making "N" hard to engage. I'm not an expert but I have the same issue and overcome it by a quick short snap on the throttle at the same time shift to "N" slides straight in every time (or out of gear depending how you look at it)

I know they need dextron 111 to disengage. Anything else drags. I also remember that the hydraulic rod length had to be cut to the correct length on the cvo bikes. Jim knows this measurment. Its a huge difference with the wrong primary fluid
