Title: Axeo legends owners
Post by: 1roadking on April 08, 2018, 07:16:57 AM
I just had the Legends axeo front end and 13inch HD Revo A’s installed. I haven’t ridden the bike yet, but pushing down and up on the front end with front brake applied it makes a noise almost like a very dull bump or clunk, it’s not real loud, I doubt I would even hear it with the motor running. Normal?

I just installed them this winter, got to ride with them once for a very short ride just to test them.   Never heard a noise like you describe.

Just went out to the garage and pushed on the front end. Didn't hear or feel any bump.

Yes, I get a faint dull bump or click.   Can only hear it when pushing forward and hitting front brake.  Never heard it riding.  Friend said he never heard it on his.  Pushed his a little forward and hit brake hard, you could barely hear it, but its there.

Love it, it is a very good front suspension, and way better then progressive mono tubes.

I will have to recheck mine, my hearing sucks.

So far I like this front end, handles way better than the stock suspension in the long fast sweepers

Good to hear:) I was worried something was wrong but it sounds just as you described. I think it’s just the internal parts moving through their stages. The installer has done a ton of them, so I figured he had it right. If the bike was running, you wouldn’t even hear the noise.

Just a heads up, I talked to Legends and the light knock/thump is normal. Also the sound of air squishing in and out of rear shocks is normal as well lol. Strange noises but so far great performance from this set up. The ride is great and I’m loving the extra ground clearance! I have the fronts set up at 2 turns out of 4 and the rear 13 inch Revo A’s are at 3 of 6 on the dial and 3/4 inches total sag. I’m gonna play around with the rear settings a little at a time but so far I can tell I’m going to love them😀
