As some of you know, I had a minor crash with my Smurf last November 30th. As I did not want to be without a bike during prime riding season I purchased a new stock 2007 Roadglide. Sweet bike. Smoothest
Harley bike I have ever ridden. I wasn't going to change anything on it mechanically as I already have a SECUSE. However, I have been checking out the Fat Baggers for the last 3 years in Daytona and I finally decided to go ahead with one of their conversions this past Biketoberfest. I made my order and placed my deposit for next Bike Week 2008. I will have the rear 200MM tire kit and fender for the rear complete with the Venom chrome wheel, a matching 21" Venom on the front, chrome calipers, braided lines (all), matching chrome brake rotors (Venom), chrome jac-knife highway pegs, chrome forks with flush mounted axle nuts, painted chin spoiler, painted fairing, and probably something else I am leaving out. Anyway, I decided that I would probably like a little more power to haul that fat tire around so i went with the 103 up grade with the following main components:
1010-0181 ---- Big Sucker Stage 1 AC
16549-99 ------ 3.875” Cylinder Kit
21966-07 ------ 1690 Piston Kit
25458-06 ------- SE 203 Cam Kit
32107-01H ----- EFI Race Tuner Kit
1800-0465 ------ V&H True Duals
Nothing fancy just a little more torque and hp. I picked her up Friday (yesterday) but its been raining here off and on and we have the grandboys so I haven't been able to break her in for her final tune yet. My initial thoughts are that I like it a lot! Awhile back me and a friend changed the final drive belt sprocket from the tranny to a 30 tooth sprocket (down from a 32). we would have gone to a 29 but they were not available yet for the 07's. Each tooth changes your RPM's 3% so I have a 6% increase overall which makes 6th gear more usable and gives the lower gears a little more torque. So with the 103 upgrade it really jumps.

Wow Rob, you're buying out their entire catalog! :o
That RG will surely be special when you're done with it! ;)
I really like those Jac-Knife Folding Highway Pegs. So much so, I just ordered a set myself. What a great idea those are!
They have some pretty nice looking products there. Thanks for posting that info!
Keep us updated on the progress of your new custom RG!
And congrats on making Elite Membership in the process! :2vrolijk_21:

I can't remember which scooter magazine I read it in, but there was an article about the production bikes that FBI are doing that had those on them. They were saying that they were nice, but took away some of the ground clearance (drag) riding aggressively in corners.

I am sure you noticed this but make sure you ordered the chrome set. If you look clsely at the above picture, the top one is chrome and the bottom black. They come either way.
THANKS!!

Nice job, fatbaggers has some sweet stuff.

I've only ridden about 100 miles but I am really liking this setup! Love the sound and the torque. I should go back in a week or so to get a final tune and I should get some numbers then. Supposed to be 10.1 on the compression.

The bike I call Crash has the same components as Fat Baggers Bike. I should have less than 25,000 in mine when done. That is 18,000 less than theirs!

Okay. Just got her back home last night!! SWEET! Pictures just don't do her justice. The 103 continues to please me. Smooth ride, great acceleration! Guys at Fat Baggers are great to deal with. Just couple of teenie snafus and they took great care of me. I have to return Thursday as my fuel and volt meter guage lights are not working. If anyone is in the area i will be at the FBI "tent" on Thursday afternoon. Hope to see ya there!

Actually rides good!! Rode with mama last night about 80 miles and reall enjoyed it. The front tire takes a little getting used to as it feels Like it has a little "rake" to it, heavy at low/parking lot speeds. The rear is 200/50/17 the front is a 21". Sweet!

Very nice-looking Road Glide! What kind of passenger pegs are those?

Very Nice!!! Thanks for the pictures and description of the modifications.

Good looking bike. I saw it at FBI tent when I was in Biketoberfest lat year. What are you revving at in 6th gear at 80mph with the smaller sprocket.?

About 1/2 way down the page, part number SB-RLR. Then you add your own pegs. I just use highway pegs. Mama loves em!

They are the smoothest of any touring/bagger I have ever spent any serious time on.
