:orange: I found this site while I'll was looking for information on the CVO stuff. I had just dropped off my 2003 Electra Glide at the local HD shop for a CVO 110ci build up. Short long story short...I called the next day and told him to wait. DON"T BORE MY CASE! I ventured over that morning and we looked over several builds and now I will end up with a CVO 103, 211 CAM, Race tuner, and I haven't decided on the exhaust yet!
Anyway, this is my first Harley, I bought it new! Now that it's paid for, the sky is the limit! :2vrolijk_21:

Good call on holding off on the 110. The 103 has been a workhorse. Curious why you chose the 203 cams thought ???

Wow, Thanks everybody! I must say, I am a bit embaressed! I was looking for some pics to post and really don't have any of the bike as the center object. I will make it a point to get lots of pics when this is done.
The 211 Cam was picked because it will give me low end torque. I looked at several dyno charts of different builds and that one produced the most torque where I would use it most. I don't ride hard at all. My back tire took me 15K miles. I spend most of my time in the 2500 - 3500rpm range.
The bike is stock Black 2003 Electra Glide Classic just like this.....expect I have the laced wheels.

Well, hold on BUD. That will change very quickly around here. Ever heard of Traxxion Dynamics? www.traxxion.com.
That will be good for a quick 2 grand. ;D
Glad you found us.

:huepfenjump3: Interesting! Thanks Chief! I'll add this to the list.....LOL!

Welcome and many congratulations on getting your bike tuned and dialed in just the way you like it. Hope it gives you many, many miles of smiles and enjoyment. Re the skies the limit thing............... I just reccomend you go lock up your wallet quick, and then re-think your statement. I have found out things that I have to have that before coming here I didn't even know existed.

Yeah! Tell me about it! But, I'm fortunate enough at this stage of my life (second kid out, the wife an I just became empty nester's) to be able to build what I want instead of compromising with what's out there. Who knows...next year it may all fall apart so until something happens (my guess is grand kids) I'm going to have catchup fun.
Well, I did decide on the exhaust. Supertrapp SE Slip-on's. http://www.supertrapp.com/product_sections/cat.asp?CatID=43 I understand these are probably a modern version of the old Kerker slip-ons. I was told Supertrapp bought Kerker.

Welcome from Nor Cal.
Don't know anymore about the 110s than what I've read here. But that's been enough to make me think that you've made the right decision with the motor build going with the 103". I think that most of us with the 103 are happy with them and most of us still have them.
-
Thanks JCV,
Yes sir...I have been sleeping a lot better at night since I changed the direction of the CVO build. I'm glad to hear you like your 103. I have heard nothing but good things thus far about them. I should end up spending the same $$ for the 103 as I was going to with the 110. AND.....the 103 will be just as strong. :huepfenjump3:

Welcome :2vrolijk_21:

Oh Dude...this thing is strong! :huepfenjump3: And, after 1000 miles of break-in, I'm going to get it dyno'ed and dialed in. I can only imagine what it will run like then. I've got 5 boxes of parts in the basement. Seems the only thing original in this motor is the case and push rods. Even had a Hi-torque starter put on.

Welcome from Brussels,Belgium.
Supertrapp is a good choice not too loud not too quiet.
Think about a 6th gear.
Enjoy the site.
