Title: Rear Speakers With Chopped Tour Pak?
Post by: ScreaminStreetGlide on March 07, 2010, 06:17:11 PM
This is a quote from the Boom Audio Rear Speaker directions:

"All models will require the prior installation of a Tour PakĀ®.
See a Harley-Davidson dealer for availability of color-matched
King or Chopped Tour-Paks to match your vehicle"

The description says not for chopped tour paks, but the directions imply they would work.  Does anyone have first hand knowledge? :-\

Must be a misprint... I don't think there is enough room for speakers on the "chopped" TP.

I could almost swear I saw a thread here where someone put speaker pods on a chopped tour pak. Have not been able to find it?  :nixweiss:

At one time, Pez of HogTunes said they were working on chopped pods so you may want to contact him and see if anything came of the project.  HD's current pods are too large for the chopped.
